We are seeking a highly capable Risk Manager, to contribute to making a positive organisational difference.

 

The Risk Manager is responsible for managing Sunnyfield's risk management framework, including work health and safety and workers compensation initiatives, and works closely with all areas of the business to create a culture and processes that reduce risks.

 

As Sunnyfield Risk Manager, key responsibilities will be to:

  • Oversee Sunnyfield's risk management strategy and approach;
  • Identify, assess, monitor, report, recommend and implement initiatives to mitigate risks, including improving Work Health and Safety;
  • Implement a Loss Prevention Recovery Model for workplace injury management and workers' compensation;
  • Support the organisation's leaders to identify key risks and develop strategies for prevention, mitigation and elimination of risks;
  • Interpret WH&S and workers' compensation legislative requirements to ensure compliance requirements are understood, documented and met;
  • Oversee the organisation's Business Continuity Plan; and
  • Bring and utilise your Risk management knowledge and expertise to make a difference.

To perform in this role you will need to have:

  • Significant knowledge in risk management and compliance.
  • Experience in WH&S, Return to Work coordination and Workers' Compensation.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with collegiate interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and self-motivation with high-level organisational and planning skills.
