Community Support Workers

Permanent Part-time role - 30hrs to 50hrs per fortnight

Choose your location, Group Homes located in:

Belrose, Beacon Hill, Frenchs Forest, Killarney Heights, Forestville, Roseville, Gordon and West Pymble

We are looking for a proactive, energetic individual to work in Sunnyfield's group home, supporting people with a disability to achieve their goals and dreams, develop their skills and be active in their own lives. This is a varied role that requires someone with the energy and flexibility to provide the best quality support to Sunnyfield's clients.

 

About the Role:

  • Supporting 5 clients to live as independently as possible in their own home and in the community
  • Creating a pleasant home environment to live in
  • Outings in the community such as going for walks, coffee, dinning, shopping, bowling and more!
  • Personal care and support with domestic and household tasks such as menu planning, cooking and cleaning.
  • Rosters include early mornings, afternoons, sleepovers or active nights and weekend shifts.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Working With Children Check
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours
  • Ability to work independently & as part of a team
  • Intermediate computer skills & system savvy
  • Experience in the disability sector (desirable)
