HR Performance Specialist

In taking Sunnyfield from good to great, the Performance Specialist will focus on both the reactive and proactive elements of building a sustainable, high performance culture.

The role will work closely with the business to support people managers on People matters by providing professional advice, coaching and generalist support on a range of human resources and industrial relations related matters

Your responsibilities will include to:

  • Focus primarily on performance, including performance management, capability development and ultimately staff engagement and retention.
  • Provide day to day coaching and guidance to managers coupled with implementation of performance and learning and development initiatives and projects
  • You will support a high performance culture by working closely with the business in acting as the first point of contact for any performance issues including performance improvement plans, employee counselling and participation in Response Team investigations
  • Working closely with the HR business partners on a in variety strategic PLC initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with employment and industrial relations requirements including applicable industrial instruments, Enterprise Agreements, National Employment Standards (NES) and other relevant legislation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Degree Qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Business
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Demonstrated ability in managing and achieving successful outcomes in complex employee matters
  • Strong experience across employment/industrial relations with high level understanding of all areas of employment law and WHS
  • Experience in building a high performance culture, coaching and developing leaders to build high performing teams.
  • Experience with best practice performance management approaches, and ideally, the review and implementation of new performance management processes.
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities and to achieve targets in a performance driven environment
  • Passion for Leadership mentoring, coaching and capability build.
