We currently have a Permanent Part Time opportunity, 50 hours per fortnight, for Community Support Worker to join our group home located in Terrey Hills, Sydney. 

You will be working with 5 residents but mainly supporting a young male client in all aspects of life, engaging on daily activities such as exercising, going out, cooking, shopping and personal care. 

Your role will be to provide active support using person centred approach, developing a person's potential to participate as independently as possible within their home and the community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A contemporary attitude towards people with a disability
  • Creative ideas in supporting people with a disability to be included in the community
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal to be able to take on a key worker role
  • Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office and other relevant computer systems, to complete documentation and reporting
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters, including evenings & weekends
  • Experience in supporting peple with challenging behaviours
  • Valid NSW drivers licence
