Property Project Manager – Full Time role

 

Sunnyfield is a large not-for-profit organisation with a person-centred approach to providing services to people with a disability. Sunnyfield supports people to enable them to achieve their goals, aspirations and to live more independent lives. We currently have a great opportunity for a Property Project Manager based at Allambie Heights on a full time basis.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a person wishing to advance their career into middle management.

Reporting to the Program Manager Property, this role will be responsible for:

  • Project Managing strategic projects involving the upgrade, relocation and facility improvement of properties;
  • Co-ordinating project work schedules with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Tracking project deliverables, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on the progress of projects;
  • Presenting reports and defining project progress, problems and solutions;
  • Implementing and managing project changes and interventions;
  • Leading project team meetings;
  • Visiting sites when required.

 

Ideally candidates will have:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management role in the building and construction industry;
  • Solid track record as a Project Manager in delivery of Fit Out / Refurbishment Projects;
  • Qualification in a construction discipline or a trade background;
  • Certification / Training in Project Management;
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence;
  • Strong relationship development skills;.
  • Excellent verbal and succinct written communication skills;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or capacity to acquire;
  • High attention to detail and a proactive solution focused approach;
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, including the ability to prioritise, meet specified deadlines and the ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work autonomously, exercise discretion and use initiative;
  • Well-developed time management skills, organisational and administrative skills;
  • Demonstrated analytical skills.
