The Opportunity

The position of Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing specialist therapy services to people with a disability, their families and/or carers within a person centred, strengths based approach. There is an opportunity to work full time or casual hours, allowing for flexibility for a work/ balance.


         Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct services (Occupational Therapy) within the Client's home, community hub, school or in the community
  • This includes seating/wheelchair prescriptions, transport seating, sensory processing and environmental modifications, home modifications and functional skills development.
  • Collaborate with external Psychologists, Allied Health and Behaviour Support specialists.  


The successful candidate will have: 

  • A recognised degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy;
  • General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner's Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Successful experience working with and supporting children, young people, adult & ageing clients with a disability with complex needs requiring specialised and complex intervention strategies;
  • Successful experience working with families in a family centred model;
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to use own comprehensively insured vehicle;
  • Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one.
