We're a large not-for-profit organisation with a Person Centred approach to providing services to people with disabilities. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a House Mobile Service Coordinator to join our Shared Living team in Sydney.

The Mobile Service Coordinator will be required to provide scheduled backup when an incumbent Service Coordinator is on annual leave, away for extended personal leave or when the designated house requires additional operational assistance. It's a great opportunity to work across different services, build relationships and never get bored!

You must have experience working as a Service Coordinator or have a good working knowledge of Sunnyfield's policies and procedures in Shared Living homes and strong IT system skills. Leadership and financial skills (managing budgets) are required as staff require guidance, support and development during the NDIS transition and Sunnyfield's growth strategy. The role will be required to travel to any of Sunnyfield's Shared Living homes in Sydney for varying short and long assignments based on resource planning requirements.  

You will be required to:

  • Adapt and build relationships quickly within each home
  • Deliver high quality person centred active support to our clients and future clients
  • Providing leadership, development & direction to the team
  • Positively manage the home, including building relationships with our clients and their carers

Knowledge and skills:

  • Service Coordinator experience or similar
  • Commitment to the rights of people with a disability
  • High levels of motivation & be self-driven with superior interpersonal and engagement skills
  • Awareness of individualised funding
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence
