Sunnyfield is a large not-for-profit organisation with a Person Centred approach to providing services to people with disability.

We are looking for an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer, whose role will be supporting Sunnyfield's Shared Living team with auditing and quality obligations. This is a new role designed to better support our Group Homes, full time 12 months contract with potential to become permanent.

About the role: 

  • Support the team in Shared Living to meet both internal and external quality, risk and compliance NDIS standards
  • Work directly with staff in Shared Living to respond to NDIS audit results and reporting requirements
  • Mentor and coach staff members on improving quality assurance outcomes and reporting
  • Report to GM in Shared Living in audit outcomes and key quality measures
  • Work collaboratively with the Corporate Risk Manager to review service delivery
  • Assist to develop service risk assessments and support staff to implement control mitigants
  • Role is based in Allambie Heights with travel as required to sites in NSW and ACT

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3-5 years' experience in the social sciences/human services field
  • Degree and professional qualification in quality and control
  • Strong understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework & NDIS Practice Standards
  • Experience and understanding of shared living service delivery within the disability sector 
  • Experience in data and trend analysis and writing management reports
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
  • Excellent computer skills and able to work autonomously
  • NSW driver's licence
